I don't agree that opening for Matt classifies as 'square one', but Jason doesn't operate as if American Idol gave him a free pass to anything and personally? I admire that. The guy works his ass off, and this kind of tour is exactly where you'd expect to see an acoustic artist.

Most of the tour dates are posted on JasonCastroMusic, so check early and often to see if the Matt Hires/Jason Castro tour is coming to a non-American Idol-type venue near you. Thankfully, I can answer that question with a resounding 'Awright!' while pumping my fist in the air.
