This Week's Guest Shuffle

It's time for our continuing saga of Shuffles from Mothers Anthem, featuring this week's shuffle-button-pushing guest, bassist Drew Walters. And hey, Drew - get outta my iPod Zune! Radiohead, Tom Petty and Ryan Adams? Dude. I heart this list like whoa!
Drew 's been a fixture around the Austin music scene for awhile now: along with last week's guest shuffler, Zak Loy, he was in Damesviolet; he co-produced Pilot Radio's album, Antiques; helped form Alpha Rev and played bass on that band's EP and an album; and has at least a couple Best Bass Player nominations from the Austin Music Awards under his belt.

The Pretenders - Don't Get Me Wrong
Such a great song. Great Melody, sexy, great moving chorus. Nuff Said.
Radiohead - Let Down
This song is beautiful. Its nice when a piece of music can take you somewhere you have never been.
Ryan Adams and the Cardinals - Dear John
This is a newer song but it is perfect to me. Amazing Songwriter.
